This policy describes the cookies and equivalent technologies used on the Module 48 store, what they are for, and how you can set your choices.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a site. We also use equivalent technologies — your browser's local storage and session storage — which hold information in a comparable way. On this page, “cookie” refers to all of them.
How we use them
Module 48 uses them to run the store (cart, currency, language, session), to measure site audience, and for marketing communications tied to our newsletter sign-up.
Strictly necessary cookies
These let the store work: remembering your country and language, the cart currency, the technical session, and carrying your consent choice. They are set by Shopify, the platform the store runs on. Without them the store cannot work properly.
Audience measurement
Shopify measures the store's audience on our behalf (page views, journeys, sales).
Marketing
Klaviyo is the tool we use for the newsletter. It stores identifiers in your browser to show sign-up forms and to link your browsing to your subscription if you are subscribed.
Other technical services
The Klaviyo script loads Bugsnag, an error-reporting service, and a font hosted by Google Fonts. These requests send your IP address to those providers.

This list reflects what we observed on a visit to the store. Checkout and the customer account may set additional cookies, managed by Shopify.
Managing your preferences
A banner lets you accept, decline or set your preferences on your first visit. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off from that banner, because the store would stop working.
Browser settings
Your browser can also block or delete cookies already stored. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the store — cart, currency, language — will stop working.
Updates
This policy may change when the store or the services we use change.
